Websv_pure's intention is to block certain types of mods people used to cheat, including such things as: Changing cloak/decloak sounds to be much, MUCH louder. Changing player models to be visible through walls. Changing models of other weaponry to be visible through walls (stickies, sentries, etc...) These are kinds of things that VAC doesn't catch. Webb0bel • 5 yr. ago. If you want to bypass sv_pure for custom animations you should download the map here, and put "map_background preload_room; wait 10; disconnect" in your autoexec.
