It is also the main attraction of the over 1600-acre Lake Leatherwood City Park and an ideal destination for swimming, boating, and fishing which can be done from the boat or on the lake's bank. WebbThis is a gorgeous public park that is managed by the Eureka Springs Parks and Recreation. The Lake Leatherwood City Park spans 1615 acres and includes the 85-acre lake. The lake was formed in the 1940s by the largest limestone dam in the country. It is listed in the National Registry of Historical Places.
