WebI use a mod and have been for a while with no issues. It's the extended view distance one. It's simple and functions great when updated. You seemed to be using mods that affect the gameplay. The devs can't even push out updates without breaking the game so I imagine that mods in general that tamper with gameplay related files will be buggy as well.
