Obviously it is missing the splat but the rest is pretty complete. So after I got this I called up my long time friend and clock mentor to see if he had an extra splat for this clock. WebBirge, Mallory & Co. triple decker, 1838-1843. A wonderfully restored 8-day shelf clock, 36.5 inches tall. The mahogany veneer is clean, the period gesso eagle on top has been refinished in some way, as have the gold columns and capitals. The wood columns have a faux finish applied.
